INFOGRAPHICS: Doxing and Data Privacy Implications

Sep 5, 2025 | News & Updates

Just a quick reminder about something called doxing. This is when someone exposes personal info online without your consent. It can lead to harassment or identity theft.

Here are a few simple ways to protect yourself:

  • Don’t overshare on social media.
  • Use a strong password/passphrase and turn on two-factor authentication.
  • Think twice before clicking links or downloading attachments from unknown sources.
  • Let the Privacy Focal Person (PFP) know right away if you notice anything suspicious.

Your vigilance helps safeguard both your personal information and our community.
